Canoes can be rented just up the road from us and there are single seaters and 2 seaters so you can explore the church spire at the sunken village and all the little smaller river . There is a restaurant/ bar wher you rent them from so after you get back you can lunch or dinner and a refreshing drink.

Horse riding is an excellent way to experience something different with a guided ride through some valleys and mountain tracks. Easily arranged and as with all the activities in the area nothing is too expensive to try and do.

Fishing is a big draw to this area of Catalunya and Hacienda Angling has the reputation for being one of the best and Fishing the Ebro below the Riba roja dam has produced some huge fish. They have boats for rent and all the fishing gear for hire too.

Fishing further upriver above the town of Mequinenza at Caspe or Ciprana EbroCatQuest and John will make sure the best fishing experience possible. They're about an hours drive up river through the mountain roads so easily done in a day. Check our videos for clips of the fishing. Aragon fishing license can be arranged by John in advance.

Swimming in a Lagoon or rock pool is fab and we know plenty, some are even on a few of our routes and make an excellent lunch stop but on a day off you can spend all day there relaxing with a picnic testing your nerves on a cliff jump. Good fun and great adrenalin like being a kid again.

Renting a boat for the day on the Ebro is awesome, there is so much to see and do just on this stretch you wont do it all in a day. There are several large ruins to explore on the banks as well as restaurants and bars for lunch (only a few) then there is the sunken village church spire that we took the Travel Channel to see and the railway building, and a few others I'm going to save for when you are here.

Visit the caves of Benifallet and tour the 2nd largest cave system in Catalunya with Stalagmites and stalactites it is truly awesome and well worth the visit.
